| Born in Belmont, MA on March 22, 1903. "Molly" Pendergast studied art at UC Berkeley where she was a pupil of Hans Hofmann. Upon graduation in the 1930s, she settled in Sacramento and lived there until her death on Feb. 19, 2002.
