| | Born in Middleboro, MA on Dec. 9, 1913. Panesis studied art at Syracuse University and then taught ceramics at Alfred University. During his early career he painted portraits and other fine art. He lived briefly in San Francisco in the early 1930s before settling in Los Angeles where he worked for various animation studios as a layout designer.
