Niels Pedersen Mols (1859 - 1921)
Predominantly a painter of rural genre, farm workers and animals, Mols was born on March 27, 1859 in Grumstrup, Denmark. He studied at the Royal Danish Academy of the Fine Arts from 1880 to 1884. First acclaim came with the painting titled Roeoptagning exhibited 1886 at the Statens Museum of Art.
His painting, Rainy Weather, was exhibited at the World's Columbian Art Exhibition in 1893. It is loosely painted in an i (showing 500 of 1096 characters). |
