Otto van Pippel was born in Lodz, Poland, then Germany. He
studied painting in Karlsruhe, Strasbourg, and finally in
Dresden. A true Impressionist, he was best known for his animated
landscapes, and for his painting of domestic interior scenes, winning
prizes for exhibited works throughout Germany during his lifetime.
He is widely collected in Germany and internationally. |
