Patricia Powers, MFA
Patricia Powers began creating and exhibiting her monumental horse paintings in 1981 on the West Coast where she was attending graduate school, and has continued this body of work since returning East. Her work reflects a lifelong involvement with riding as well as contemporary painting, and often raises issues about horses in the modern world. Although she produces oils on canvas of all sizes, she is best known for the life-size pieces. Patricia was born in New Yo (showing 500 of 3176 characters). |
