Paul Philippoteaux (27 January 1846 – 1923) was a French artist. He is best known for a cyclorama* of the Battle of Gettysburg. A large section of the Gettysburg Cyclorama depicts Pickett's Charge up Cemetery Ridge. He also did a diorama* of the life of Ulysses S. Grant and a panorama" of Niagara Falls. In 1885, he was in New Orleans and married a native, Marie Bechet.
