| | Born in Colorado City, CO on Aug. 24, 1901. Pauline grew up in Portland, OR. There she was educated at Jefferson High School and the University of Oregon. After graduation, she wed Bradley A. Peavy and moved to the Los Angeles area where she studied at the Chouinard Art Institute. While a resident of San Pedro in the 1930s, she had an art gallery and was a teacher in the Long Beach public schools. In 1943 she moved to NYC and lived there until her death in Bethesda, MD on Nov. 18, 1999.
