The following biography is from a Gilman Galleries exhibit catalog undated but circa 1965; and an artist supplied vita)

Born June 1933 in Hilburg, Minnesota.

Awards : $500.00 prize in the "Chicago Show" at the Art Institute of Chicago 1963. Purchase prize at 1964 Midyear Show at Butler Institute of American Art

Holdings : Butler Institute of American Art; University of North Dakota; Lewis College in Lockport, Illinois.

Exhibits : Gilman Galleries 1965 (one-man); Realism Revisited at Flint Art Institute 1966; Art Institute of Chicago 1963; National Academy of Design 1964; Vincent Price collection 1965; Lewis College Invitational 1963; North Dakota Annual 1961, 1962, 1963; Philadelphia Print Club, Northwest Printmakers; Chicago Arts Festival Hunterdo County Annual; Boston Printmakers

Awarded Cresson European Traveling Scholarship in 1956
