| Born in Enid, OK on June 19, 1904. Pillsbury was active in Chicago and New York as a scenic artist, fashion creator, and set designer for various theatrical enterprises. He settled in Laguna Beach in the 1930s and worked as a painting contractor while exhibiting locally. He died on Jan. 17, 1990. His work includes oils, watercolors, etchings, and linoleum block prints.
