| Verna Johnston Peck (Mrs. W. C. Peck) was born February 23, 1889 in Hutchinson, Kansas. She studied at Southwestern College and the Univ. of Wichita. Earned a BFA at the Kansas City Art Institute. Was a pupil of Grace Raymond, Clayton Henri Staples, and Thomas Hart Benton. Lived in Kansas City in 1953.
