| | Born at Warm Springs, Alameda County, CA on May 23, 1867. Vincente F. was a member of the Peralta family whose land grant once covered most of the cities surrounding Oakland. After spending his youth on his family's coffee and sugar plantations in Baja California, he became a painter of circus wagons and backdrops. Many of the backdrops at the PPIE of 1915 were from his brush. In his leisure he painted landscapes of scenic spots in northern California. His works are rare.
