William Larned Marcy Pendleton (1865-1934) was the [great-]
great-great-grandnephew of Edmund Pendleton (1721-1803).
William L.M. Pendleton was born in Paris, France where he later studied
art under Emile Auguste Carolus-Duran (i.e. Charles Durand).
Pendleton then moved to Bethel CT and later Philadelphia PA. He
exhibited art there and in Paris regularly, and he was a member of the
Society of Independent Artists.
He married first Alida Maria Lundqu (showing 500 of 1390 characters). |
