Director and teacher at the Riverdale Fine Arts Society in New York City, Zita Querido was also a broadcaster for the Voice of America and a fine-art abstract painter. She lived in New York City where she was enrolled in the Hans Hoffman School of Fine Art. Memberships included the American Federation of Arts.
Exhibition venues include the Miami Museum of Modern Art, 1964, and the Provincetown Group in 1958. In 1964, Querido did a series of paintings dedicated to Preside (showing 500 of 726 characters). |
