| | Born at Rancho Buena Ventura, Shasta County, CA on Aug. 15, 1859. Alice was the daughter of Pierson B. Reading, a California pioneer of 1843. During 1896 to 1920 she lived in Washington, DC and studied at the ASL there. A spinster, she died in Shasta on April 6, 1939. In: Calif.
