| | Painter. Born in Clifton, NJ on Feb. 22, 1906. The Repine family moved to Pasadena when Betty was four. After graduation from Pasadena High School in 1923, she settled in Laguna Beach where she became interested in art and studied with Galen W. Doss, Elanor Colburn, and Ruth Peabody. By 1946 she was a resident of Yucaipa, CA and the wife of Bob Roberts. She died in Los Angeles on Dec. 13, 1975. Her subjects include desert scenes and old buildings as well as landscapes and still lifes in oil and watercolor. Member: Laguna Beach AA; San Diego FA Society.
