Living for over 40 years in a ground floor East Village apartment, Bill
Rice was an artist, art dealer, filmmaker and actor and was a central
figure in his neighborhood. In Chelsea in 2005, a show of 30 of
his paintings, watercolors, constructions and collages was held at a
gallery and was titled "Bill Rice: The View from 13 East 3rd".
His move into the East Village, from the West Village, occurred in 1960.
He studied at Middlebury College in Vermont and was a student (showing 500 of 884 characters). |
