| Cartoonist. Born in Los Angeles, CA on Aug. 4, 1903.
After graduating from UCLA, Russell was a political cartoonist for the Los Angeles Times for many years. In 1946 he was awarded the Pulitzer Prize for his cartoons of the Cold War. He died in Redondo Beach, CA on Dec. 18, 1963.
