| | Born in Florence, Italy on Aug. 24, 1872. Romanelli studied sculpture in Rome and Paris before coming to the U.S. in 1902. He was active in Chicago before settling in Los Angeles in 1914. After establishing a studio, he fulfilled many local commissions until his death there on Aug. 9, 1947. Exh: Blanchard Gallery (LA), 1914; Museum of History, Science & Art (LA), 1921.
