| Born in La Veta, CO on May 15, 1888. Catherine Moore grew up in Grand Junction and attended Colorado State Teachers College. After obtaining her teaching credential, she studied drawing, design, and interior decoration at the AIC and took private lessons in china painting. In 1915 she married artist Henry Richter and, with her husband, taught at Western State College in Gunnison, CO and at Drake University in Des Moines, IA. In 1920 the Richters moved to Long Beach, CA where Mrs. Richter tau (showing 500 of 1355 characters). |
