| | Born in Massachusetts in 1843. By 1880 Romer had settled in San Francisco. Destitute and eccentric, she died there at the County Hospital on May 22, 1905. She was a close friend and confidante of Mammy Pleasant. Her portraits and landscapes are rare. Exh: Mechanics' Inst.
