Charles J. Romans (1891 – 1973) Charles Romans studied art at State Teachers College, Buffalo, New York; New York University; and the National Academy of Design under Leon Kroll, George Elmer Browne and Sigurd Skou. He was a member of the Allied Artists of America, the National Society of Painters in Casein, the Painters and Sculptors Society of New Jersey, and the Professional Artists of South Jersey.
