The son of Lewis and Merietta Reinach, Charles married Ella in 1896.  In the 1910 census for Chicago he is listed as an artist, while in later years he is shown as an engraver and illustrator. 

According to the obituary of his wife Ella (Schneider) Reinach - she died in 1970 at the age of 91 in Mentone, Indiana - her husband preceeded her in death about 40 years earlier.
