The following information comes from his great- granddaughter:

David (Dave) Risk  was born in Weston, Missouri, in 1865.  For a while he lived in Liberty, Missouri and then in Chicago, Illinois. 

Later in life he lived with his son, the Reverend Dr. D. F. Risk in St. Louis, Missouri, where he died on January 21, 1933.
