A resident of Las Cruces, New Mexico and Scottsdale, Arizona, he paints huge oil and watercolor skyscapes that reflect the spiritual feelings and inner quiet he finds in his Southwestern surroundings.
He was raised in Central Pennsylvania in the wooded Susquehanna River Valley and attended the Pennsylvania Academy of the Fine Arts. Special mentors have been Brice Marden who gave him appreciation of horizontal effects and Anne Poor, who encouraged and directed his watercolor and fresco tec (showing 500 of 971 characters). |
