Don Resnick was born in New York City, and currently lives and works on Long Island, New York. He was a student of Oskar Kokoschka, Raphael Soyer, Seymour Lipton and Julien Levy.
Resnick attended Hobart College, Geneva, New York; The New School for Social Research, New York City; and the Internationale Akademie fur Bildende Kunst, in Salzburg.
