A painter of portraits and landscapes, Randall served as an art educator at Wheaton College, Norton, Massachusetts from 1926-1942 (Assistant Professor of Art), the Boston Museum of Fine Arts (Senior Instructor to 1964), and as Curator for Education at the Wadsworth Athenaeum in Hartford, Connecticut from 1964 into the 1970s.
