| Please note: Artists not classified as American in our database may have limited biographical data
compared to the extensive information about American artists.
Fernando Rebagliati was born in Savona (Italy) and mostly worked as illustrator and painter in Milan and its surroundings.
His favorite subjects for paintings were countryside environment, still life and nudes.
As for illustrations, he painted several advertisement posters for the main Italian companies of the ‘50s (Alemagna, Irradio, Lanar) and a collection of cards for Liebig.
He also had a longtime experience as airplane project designer during World War II.
He died in 1980.
