| Born in San Francisco, CA on Sept. 14, 1879. Florence Wilson studied painting locally in the studio of Mattie A. Terry. By 1900 she was an accomplished painter of china, sensitive portraits, still lifes, and moody landscapes. Many of her works are painted on silk. About 1910 she married Wm Richardson and settled into a home in Pacific Heights. She painted only for a few years after her marriage due to children and family duties. A lifelong resident of her native city, Mrs. Richardson died on Aug. 19, 1973.
