| | Born in Vallejo, CA on May 29, 1879. Redewill was a graduate of UC Berkeley and Johns Hopkins Medical School. A physician, he painted in his leisure and in 1937 organized and acted as first president of the American Physicians Art Ass'n. Most of his life was spent as a resident of Berkeley while maintaining a medical practice in San Francisco.
