| | Born in San Jose, CA on May 16, 1894. Rambo was an art director at Muirson Label Company in his native city for fifty years until retiring in 1962. The San Jose city council issued a proclamation in 1981 honoring him for the 12 books on the history of the Santa Clara Valley which he wrote and illustrated in pen and ink. He died in Palo Alto, CA on May 19, 1990.
