The following bography was submitted in March of 2006 by his grandson Steven M. Rines:
Frank March Rines was born in Dover, New Hampshire. After graduating from high school in 1911, Frank commuted from Dover, New Hampshire to Boston and attended the Eric Pape Art School which he attended until he graduated in 1914. Frank spent the summer of 1911 and 1912 pencil sketching in Marblehead, Massachusetts. He then attended the Fenway School of Illustration for one year begi (showing 500 of 6998 characters). |
