Franklin (Frank) Whiting Rogers
1854-1917
Frank Whiting Rogers — active from the 1870s to around 1910 — was born in Cambridge, MA on August 27, 1854 and died in 1917, probably in Hingham, MA, his last recorded address. Best known as a painter of dogs, Rogers also created landscapes, still lifes, coastal scenes, marshes, and a variety of animals in various settings.
