Frederick Reinert was a graduate of Pratt Institute. He also attended the Grand Central School of Art. He studied with Henry B. Snell, N.A.,Harvey Dunn, N.A. and Nicolai Fechin.
Awarded numerous prizes, his work has been exhibited at the National Academy in New York, the Brooklyn Museum, the North Shore Arts Association of Gloucester, the Springfield Museum and Jordan Marsh. Moving to the North Shore in 1953 he became a member and trustee of the North Shore Arts Association until his death in 1974.
