| Truman Gervais Reed was born on May 2, 1929 in Wichita, Kansas. Earned a BA at Yale Univ. Editorial assistant for the Magazine of Art in New York from 1949-50, acting director of the film center at the Univ. of Washington from 1950-52, supervised the art department at the Western Washington Fair from 1952-57, served as curator and later as director of the Henry Gallery at the Univ. of Washington, Seattle from 1952-68. Was a Professor of Art and Art History from 1968 until his retirem (showing 500 of 1150 characters). |
