This biography from the Archives of AskART:
| Painter Glenn Rudderow captures the landscape of southern New Jersey where he has lived most of his life. Rudderow attended the Pennsylvania Academy of Fine Arts and also taught there for 16 years.
It is Rudderow's goal to "demonstrate an understanding of nature, the world around us, and our place in it, and translate it into cohesive images with unique identities." He finds inspiration in the work of Frederic Edwin Church (1826-1900), Winslow Homer and Thomas Eakins.
