| | Born in Nelson, British Columbia, Canada on Aug. 26, 1898. Reesor served in WWI and afterwards was a merchant seaman for five years. After settling in the San Francisco Bay area in 1923, he studied art at the CCAC and UC Berkeley. For 25 years he was an editorial artist for the San Francisco Chronicle. He was also a map maker and a painter of landscapes, figure studies, and sporting events.
