Harriette Wood Robinson (1858 - 1940)
The following biographical information has been provided by Mary E. G. Robinson, granddaughter-in-law of the artist:
Born in Lewiston, Maine, she married Charles Albert Robinson in 1879, moved to the adjacent town of Auburn, and lived there until his death in 1908. During these years she painted still-lives and landscapes in both oil and watercolor exhibiting them at local art shows. Three of her paintings are dated "1896", "1897"and "190 (showing 500 of 1539 characters). |
