| | Born in Centerburg, OH on Jan. 29, 1898. Reynolds studied at Iowa State University, AIC, and with Birger Sandzen, B. O. Nordfeldt, and Grant Wood. Most of his career was spent as a resident of Logan, UT. He joined the faculty at Utah State University in 1923 and remained there for the remainder of his career. He stopped painting in 1941 to concentrate on color photography. Reynolds died in Utah in 1974. Exh: Oakland Art Gallery, 1928, 1929, 1932; SFMA, 1931; University of Utah, 1954 (solo).
