Born Haddam, May 21, 1910. Painter, specialized in portraits. Teacher. Graduate of the University of Kansas, Lawrence; studied at Bethany College, Lindsborg. Pupil of Birger Sandzén, Raymond J. Eastwood, Karl Mattern, & Albert Bloch. Lived in Haddam in 1933. Served as supervisor of art for the Longmont, CO. schools in 1935.
