| Born in Chambersburg, Pennsylvania, Herbert Ruthrauff was a self-taught painter active in Lansdale, Pennsylvania where he was a teacher at the Sketch Club. A mural by him is in the Kirkbride School in Philadelphia.
He painted at New Hope, Pennsylvania. |
