The following information was submitted by the artist's widow, Rachel Roth: Jack Roth (1927-2004) got a Ph.D. in Mathematics at Duke University and was an artist for 50 years. He won a Guggenheim fellowship in painting in 1979, and showed his work at M. Knoedler from 1979-1986. He was NewTalent Graphic artist of the year 1963 in Art in America. He never did serigraphs. Typically he painted very large acrylic abstract expressionist paintings. He (showing 500 of 7258 characters). |
