This biography from the Archives of AskART:
| | A Webster Fellowship student at the Delta Marsh Waterfowl Research Station in Manitoba, Canada, he chose a career in wildlife art over that of science. His work is sold in limited edition prints through Wild Wings. He describes his style as representational realism and paints outdoors, preferring not to work from photographs. His studio has been in Circle Pines, Minnesota, and he prefers to work with watercolor and pencil, especially the latter because you don't have to think about anything else. |
