| | Born in Sweden in 1861. Rydingsvard studied at the Technical Institute in Stockholm. He sailed to NYC in 1881 and taught at Teacher’s College for several years. While in Los Angeles in 1918-19, he was employed by the U.S. government to establish arts and crafts centers for returning war veterans. | Source:
