A teacher and well-known portrait painter, Lazar Raditz did portraits of prominent persons such as members of the Rockefeller and DuPont families, Madame Chiang-Kai-Shek, and many philanthropists, doctors and judges. He was an art teacher at the Philadelphia Sketch Club*, and the Salmagundi Club*. His daughter Violetta C. Raditz was also an artist.
