| Born and raised in Bangor, Maine, Lee Rommel lived in New York and Puerto Rico before moving to the southwest in 1973. Making her home in Santa Fe, New Mexico, she has been painting and teaching for 35 years, inspiring many of her students to become professional artists. Critics have acclaimed her work as "beautifully sensitive, yet strong and skillful". Multi-talented, she works in watercolors, oils, pastels and sculpture. Primarily self-taught, she has had informal instruction with Wilson Hurl (showing 500 of 918 characters). |
