This biography from the Archives of AskART:
| Born in Minnesota on Sept. 5, 1892. Randall settled in San Diego in 1910. After graduation from Polytechnic College, he became a successful businessman and active in Masonic affairs. He took up painting in the 1930s and studied locally with Alfred Mitchell and Maurice Braun. His landscapes often include eucalypti and are mostly of the back country of San Diego County. Randall died there on Aug. 1, 1969.
