Born and raised in Louisiana, Marguerite Robichaux is a painter, working both in oil and watercolor, whose primary subject is landscapes of Maine. She moved there in the 1980s, having spent many summers at Boothbay Harbor working at an inn. Of the Maine landscape, she says that she finds it "very sensual, very human in scale, whthere it's the lakes and mountains of western Maine or the headlands and horizons of Monhgan."
Her formal art training began at Louisiana Tech Universi (showing 500 of 736 characters). |
