Art Director of the Jewish Peoples' Institute of Chicago, Maurice Ritman lived in Chicago and was a painter, writer, and teacher. He studied at the School of the Art Institute of Chicago* where his teachers were Wellington Reynolds and Louis Ritman.
Memberships included the Chicago Society of Artists, and American Artists Congress*. The Art Institute of Chicago was his primary exhibition venue. In 1938, for the still-life painting, Window Sill, which he ent (showing 500 of 4758 characters). |
