| | Born in Washington on Feb. 23, 1889. Mrs. Redford began painting pastels at the turn of the century. Upon moving to California in 1922, she settled in Exeter and took up oil painting. While studying with local artists Arthur H. Gilbert, Abel Warshawsky, and Edna Vergon Richards, she painted landscapes of northern California. She was a resident of Exeter until her death there on Nov. 8, 1956. Member: Carmel AA; Central Calif.
