Born in St. Petersburg, Russia and educated at the Russian Royal Academy of Fine Arts, Nicolia Remisoff was a stage designer so successful that his style was dubbed "Russian Vogue". He was art director for the films "Of Mice and Men" (1939), "Topper Returns" (1941), "The Red Pony" (1949) and "Apache" (1954.
In New York City, he decorated in 1929 the second floor Grand Salon of New York's Elizabeth Arden Red Door Salon & Spa and paint (showing 500 of 939 characters). |
